HTD Netball Academy and HTD Basketball Academy

provides opportunities for people with Disabilities to enjoy fitness,

learn ball skills, life skills and play Netball and Basketball

We offer 3.5 hour weekly training sessions at the Hibiscus Stadium.

We welcome Ladies and Men to our program who are over 16 years of age.

Sessions run 9.30am to 1.00pm.

Fitness – developed after individual assessments and in consultation with Strength and Fitness specialist

Skills – ball work, catching, passing, co-ordination, shooting, dribbling

Play – learning the game, improving playing skills, match play

Education – life skills (communication, leadership, nutrition), work skills (coaching/umpiring) – this will have a program and include workbooks and other resources
